The Benefits of Athletics
Stoney Creek High School has an impressive history of both academics and athletics. The high level of preparation of our
student athletes during their years here at SCHS carries over to all other stages of their lives. The ability of students to
participate in organized, well funded athletic programs helps prepare them for greater success in college, their careers and
life in general. Maintaining the ability to offer these programs is of vital importance.
Stoney Creek Athletic Boosters
In accordance with our bylaws, the Stoney Creek Athletic Booster's are composed of parents, coaches and other civic minded adults cooperating with the Administration to give moral and financial support to all Stoney Creek High School athletic programs.
The Athletic Booster's raise funds through membership, donations and concession stand revenues. These funds are then
distributed back to our sports programs through Team Grant Requests and our Parent Volunteer Point System.
The Importance of Supporting your Athletic Boosters
Your contribution makes a significant difference to the lives of our young student athletes. Every dollar you give or hour you volunteer is an investment not only in their future, but ultimately the future of all of us. Each student who graduates from Stoney Creek High School having participated in organized athletic programs will, in all likelihood, be a better student, a better employee, a better entrepreneur, a better parent and a better citizen.
Many thanks to the Football and Cross Country families who helped clean and paint the stadium ticket booths and outdoor concession stand.
